November 2022: Scott Lee passed away peacefully on June 4, 2022, after a long period of illness. Although it had been some time since he practised, his legacy at Lee Boyd is strongly felt every day in the way we do things and the quality of our work.

April 2022: the newsletter contained interviews with Building Standards Surveyor Kenny Mckenzie, discussing improvements to the Building Regs, and Fay Stirling, our client at Blackhall Church, outlining how the church has dealt with the challenges of Covid. It also included a set of beautiful photos of our refurbishment of Lady Haig’s Poppy Factory.

December 2021: the newsletter showcased our video of the award-winning Monifieth parish church, included an interview with a client aiming to create “the poshest community centre in the world” at The Haining in Selkirk, and had articles about team member Fiona Logie and our work for the University of Edinburgh.

August 2021: the newsletter included photos of our completed project at the Parish Church of St Cuthbert in Edinburgh, an interview with conservation architect Bob Heath, and articles about our work for charity Children 1st and the National Library of Scotland.

May 2021: our newsletter introduced two new team members, Aaron and Sophia, included a fundraising appeal from Tatties Tae Tables, and showcased three of our projects: Bridge Street in Penicuik, Lady Haig’s Poppy Factory in Edinburgh, and Blackhall St. Columba’s Church, also in Edinburgh.
